Our spunky, good natured, pig pen cutie pie has been living at our house for two years! One thing I wish blogs could capture better is the little voices. Her voice, especially her intonation about does me in. We couldn't be more in love!

I don't know if I believe in this-but Daddy is a softy so we did embrace the "feel bad" present. :)
DELIGHTFUL! She is just soooo delightful.
And thirsty. She is also always very thirsty.
Nothing says happy birthday like a gourmet meal of peanut butter and jelly! (Thanks Meredith!)
And a brownie. (no candle, no birthday party, I'm just not that Mom.)
Started and ended the day cuddling with Daddy. (Can I tell you how much we LOVE having home more?!?!) That dog was one of her presents and hasn't left her side.
Happy Birthday to our sweet bundle. She was truly spared from death and is so full of life! Praise God for his faithfulness to us!

Amen and amen! All of your girls are beautiful, and I'm so very thankful that the Lord spared Kaiya, and given her a clean bill of health!! We'll be joining the club with a low-key 1st b-day for Graham. He'll be 1 on Nov. 7th, but we're in the midst of craziness leading up to Dave's sister's wedding this weekend, and then we've got a couple trips coming up...eventually we'll get around to celebrating...somehow ;-) Most likely with a gourmet mac & cheese dinner and a box cake...err, something like that :) HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KAIYA!!!!

Happy birthday!! Wonderful post for a wonderfully adorable girl!!! Couldn't agree more about voices. I don't really like putting videos up, but sometimes I will, just for that reason . . . And now I really want a video of kaiya chatting.
That's one of the areas I'm lacking in as well! No picture can bring you back like actually hearing the sound of their little voices on video. Kaiya is the sweetest most adorable 2 year old - happy birthday to her!!
I could eat her with a spoon! She really is a little angel. We love you Kaiya.

she is so beautiful and you can just tell how delightful she is from the pictures! like you said, SO full of life! hard to believe she's 2 years old already. and, man alive, i LOVE those curls! i would pay big bucks to have hair like that :) you sure have a trio of beauties, heidi :)

Ahh..Happy Birthday Kaiya. Somehow I missed this post!! I am so thankful that she is such a happy healthy little girl. And, I love how she is always thirsty. It cracks me up!! :) She is beautiful, as is the rest of your family!!!
