Chocolate Peeps and Crest Pro Health
1. Chocolate PEEPS? Have you seen these? I mean you have to give the people at Peeps credit for making sugar so fine and colorful. My roommate Carrie in college always had a lifetime supply of holiday peeps. But they were never chocolate. Peeps just shouldn't be chocolate.
2. Let me tell you about the sneaky people at Crest. They have Crest Pro Health. And Crest Pro Health NIGHT. What is the difference you may ask? A different box. A different name (clean NIGHT mint instead of just clean mint, dumb). But the active ingredient? SAME! Inactive ingredients? SAME! I bought the night because it's on sale and am using it all day long just to be rebellious. But some poor soul less intuitive than I is probably falling prey to their marketing. Just wanted you to be warned.
And now, to pictures of the people I love.I have never dressed the girls the same, except for our Christmas picture. And today they were really just coordinating, but I had to snap a few shots before I put on their outer layer. Which worked out well because by the time we got to the outer layer we had some meltdown action. :)
Our friend Andrew came to visit this week...He and his office were beyond wonderful in providing Christmas presents for every member of our family this year. It was so kind, and generous, and I still need to write a thank you note! Anyway it was fun for Andrew to get to see Kaiya OUT of the hospital! Thanks Mr. Price and Bright Financial!2. A rare shot where Ava is not trying to get IN the bouncy seat with Kaiya.
Oooo I love this! I love having girls! And sisters! So excited for them to be friends. :)

Hello Love
Ok this post is quite late...but we got to go to the Chris Tomlin concert a couple weeks ago with our friends the Warrens. This included Meet and Greet passes for after the show. Below is our picture with Chris-but----
what I cared about even more was meeting Christy Nockels, below-when I get to heaven-I am going to sing like this girl. Previously of Watermark, with a new CD coming our June 2nd. I am so excited. She seriously is my favorite voice ever in the world. (Which I obnoxiously shared with her. )And this is just me hugging my friend Kara like I may never see her again. I guess I was just overwhelmed with emotion :)!
Back to blogging about my real life tomorrow!

40 Days and Nights
We are finally back home after 41 nights in the wilderness. Ok, not the wilderness...actually lovely accomodations. (Thanks Melinda and Aunt Barb!) Below is a summary of the last week. Ava got really sick. Her first time to be really out of it. So sad.
Had fun with my sisters...of course.
Kaiya had a dr. appt. on Tuesday and got her first shots since she got sick. I was a nervous wreck. She was fine. Whew. On Thursday we went to the opthamologist. It was the first time he had seen her since the hospital. He was pleased with her progress, and amazed how much her eye had opened! Still has a way to go though, her brain is not signaling her eye to work properly still-so we are now patching her eye 1-2 hours a day. She is not a fan...but hopefully it will help!
Over the last four days I've spent about 30 hours cleaning our house. We also had the help of some really great people! Thank you! You can see below the need for clean. See the dust on the coffee table, toy box, etc??!! Gross! Thankful to be done with the mess and able to settle back in.

DeWho? Oh yeah, DeKorne!
Finally a new post...still not living at home-so, the chance to upload pictures is few and far between!
CHEESE!
Getting sick of these pictures??? I'm not! :)

Got her gold chains and carrying the camera case after several attempts to throw it over her shoulder as her "purse".
Reading books with my sister Laurel who came to visit. (We have already had donuts twice for breakfast. Oh how I love my sisters.)
And indoctrinating my child at an early age.
What? Can I not eat shredded cheese with my peanut butter and fluff sandwich???

The nice lady from Early On-the developmental program provided by our county came this morning. She said Kaiya meets all the developmental requirements of a 7 month old! Hooray! She rolled over, grabbed toys, brought them to her mouth, and transferred them back and forth. Still has a few things to work on, but overall she thought sweet Kaiya was looking good. Thank you, God!
This might be the first, albeit average-pictures of both girls almost smiling!
CHEESE!
