Ava started school a couple weeks ago and I'm just now posting pictures. But at least I took them, which is a step.
She eats lunch at school this year (9-1: AWESoME!) and is so far beyond excited about her pink clearance lunch bag I got at Target for $2.48. (Then I went and returned the $12 one I got at Bed Bath and Beyond :)).
The kids all carry matching tote bags. She was sad to give up her backpack, but has quickly adapted.
I think it's operator error that made her look 12 in this picture. I'm not happy about it. She seems to look much older than last year. Weird.
On a scale of 1-10, she was about 3,002, 426 excited for school!

So happy that she's loving school but kind of bittersweet that she is such a big girl! I love the hand on the hip. I'm going to start posing that way in pictures. Apparently its all the rage among the youngins.
Seriously - flash forward to the teenage years! She is just so sweet!
