Figured I'd fill in a few more details surrounding the birth of our little buddy.
1. Mark is funny and really good looking which provides for good blog posts and cute babies.
2. Hutchison is not a family name. I wish I could tell you it was meaningful...but, it's not.
3. This birth was not my favorite. Besides that day, everything has been pretty delightful.
The day started out full of promise. Here's my last belly shot before I got all suited up in that sweet, air conditioned robe. (Not trying to top the jumpsuit. Clearly that was the winner of the day.) I had a similar picture with Reese, except I was brunette that day. You just never know with me.

But quickly my makeup and hair went from that, to this. (and the last picture in the previous post. yikes.) It all started with that miserable IV and them not letting me eat. I puked somewhere in the neighborhood of 10 times after he was born. Also-if you're going to throw up red popsicle, I highly recommend doing it somewhere where they change your sheets for you. Just a little tip.

Proud Grandma and Grandpa! They have 6 other grandsons, but had 6 girls in between the last boy-so he was a welcome change. :)

This girl is OVER THE MOON about this baby. It's so cute. She's like me when I was little. Can't get enough of him!

This is Ava very frustrated with Mark for taking so many flash pictures of him. She covered his face in order to protect. :)
Mark getting our little man ready to go home in the same outfit all our girls AND Mark wore home from the hospital. When Ava was born I almost cried bringing my baby girl home in a green terry cloth outfit, but now I love it and want to inhale it because it's so special.

Sweet boy on the way home. I tried to make it in sepia because I was hoping it would not show the filth of our carseat after three other kids. Did it work? Not really. :) Also, I got a head support after we got home. You just forget to do stuff like get head supports and wash car seats when there are all these other kids that expect things from you. Like food. And clean underwear.

More to come of our new little family. We are so grateful for this boy!!!!

Oh Heidi, he is just beautiful and perfect. :) And you are beautiful, too, and so are your three girls! Let's just say your whole family is beautful (and Mark is pretty cute). :) I love how happy Ava is with Hutch--that is so sweet. And it's also so sweet how many family members you have close by to love on you guys. So sorry you were so sick--that's no fun. :( I love reading all about everyone and seeing all the pics--keep them coming! Miss you lots!!
And I can post now--yay!!!
I can comment, yay!!! Sooooo beautiful. I love that you brought all your kids home in the same outfit, I wish I would have thought of that. I love the name even though it's not meaningful, not all names have to be:) Can't wait to see more of the 4 awesome kiddos you guys have!!
Heidi, he is so adorable and perfect and I love this post for so many reasons! Ava's 3 hairbows, that sweet terrycloth sleeper that each of your babies have worn home, the picture of you post-birth that shows just how hard we work to bring babies into this world (I am sorry it was so difficult, it sounded miserable)... it is all so special and uniquely you. Sending you lots of love and prayers! If anyone can make having 4 kids look fun and easy it's you. ;)
what a great post (and mark's was pretty special too :)! you look wonderful, your girls are so adorable, that baby is absolutely hands-down one of the most beautiful babies...and wow!... does big sister ava look proud or what?! :) i'd say that name is pretty meaningful...now :) love, love, love seeing the pics and posts regarding your beautiful, happy family! keep 'em coming :) what else do you have to do, anyway....i mean, really?! :)
congrats on such a beautiful baby boy! and you looked so amazing at 40 weeks! i hope hutch is giving you some sleep and the girls are doing well as well.
wow i was able to post too!!
Love the pictures of you surrounded by family! Could Ava get any cuter holding her little brother!
He's gorgeous. And your makeup and hair still look pretty darned good after puking 10x, so it seems he comes by that naturally. Love you.
Despite how you might feel about it or what happened before it was taken, I adore that photo of you and Hutch - it so perfectly encompasses motherhood and those first few - so special - days. All the photos and the words are wonderful!
Oh- I love it all! Such a sweet family and so much love for little Hutch! (And those hospital pics make me so excited to bring home our little buddy for Hutch. And also a little sad- already! Which I know you can relate to..) Congrats again- LOVE him!!
You are fabulous! I've never seen a prettier pregnant woman. Serioulsy, the hair, the make-up and that sweet buddy. You even look great after having surgery and puking. You're a champ honey. So very happy for all of you.
Testing.
What?!?! I can leave you a comment? This is incredible. I loved this post. And Mark's. You are the prettiest hospital new mom I've ever seen. Even after the hard time you had. I love Hutch. He's perfect.
