I don't know. Maybe the girl has some of her Uncle Joel in her. Preach it sister.
We just started taking pictures of it. Ava was prompted to oral hygiene improvement by the new pink toothbrush she got at the Children's Fair.
**BLATANT lie. don't judge me.

Me: "please don't kill your sister, please don't kill your sister, please don't kill your sister..."
a rare moment.
Talk about missing babies. I'm 0 for 3. This chica is 5 months old and on the move. She will roll the entire length of our living room and if I wasn't always watching her carefully she might even get stuck under a chair. But that would never happen. Because I always watch her carefully.
No official crawling yet, just the all fours lunging dance. You know the one.
The scary picture of her holding Reese a few months ago has morphed into this. Still a little scary.
I like how evident it is in this post that my house is always very clean. Tidy is my middle name. Just ask anyone who has ever lived with me. :)

oh friend, you make me laugh! I love, love the minivan pics....and so identify now. Love how you took it to the next level. That pic with you and Ava is soo sweet. Framer.....you know, if you printed out pictures....or at least wallpaper for your phone.
You are so funny... I have to remind myself to make a note at bath time to brush the kids' teeth, or it has actually happened that a week went by without a single tooth properly cleaned (eek!). As always, such cute pictures of your girls. They are so adorable. Love the one of you and Ava! And we are not far from getting a car top carrier, how is it that a mini van cannot contain all of us and our stuff!?
cuteness!! love so many of these and love you!
Among your many wonderful qualities I sincerely love that you are not overly concerned with having a tidy house. I never had to feel guilty about not picking up when I lived with you and that was bliss!
so cute heidi! :) love the mini van shot!
Just laughing like always. You're too funny. Love the new blog look!!!
Can't believe how long A's hair is!!! Anxious to see you all in person soon :-) Love the new blog design!
HA HA!!! This is probalby one of your funniest posts yet! Love the sarcasm (you're speakin' my language, friend!). Love the new blog look too- very cheerful!
i probably fall into the category of insecure when it comes to the minivan thing; although, we're probably not too far away...especially if we get around to baby #3...it's just inevitable, not to mention the practical choice ;-)
Mark looks so cool. I have to admit the only thing I can think when I hear minivan anymore is how jealous I am of a car with doors that open on their own. Won't be long, I'm sure...
I just let Calvin chew on his toothbrush. Good enough, right? Love you.
Agree with the minivan comment, most parents are just too insecure to drive one:)
Also I just cannot believe how mobile your children get at such a young age! That is incredible. I can't imagine Olivia doing much of anything for the next few months.
You are such a great mom! I love how you celebrate each of your girls and their uniqueness! I can't help but laugh at the carrier comment because we only have one child and we pack out our Highlander already!
i think mark is the only person who could make driving a mini van look cool :) it's been a while since jim tried to look cool driving a minivan AND (don't be jealous) one of the really "cool", big custom vans :) really great pics - and LOVE the new look of your blog! p.s. i always love your jewelry - where did you find the big round pendant/amber beads that you're wearing in the beautiful pic of you and ava? love it :)
I wish I were a fly on the wall at your household! Your pictures crack me up.
