40 Days and Nights

We are finally back home after 41 nights in the wilderness. Ok, not the wilderness...actually lovely accomodations. (Thanks Melinda and Aunt Barb!) Below is a summary of the last week. Ava got really sick. Her first time to be really out of it. So sad.
Had fun with my sisters...of course.
Kaiya had a dr. appt. on Tuesday and got her first shots since she got sick. I was a nervous wreck. She was fine. Whew. On Thursday we went to the opthamologist. It was the first time he had seen her since the hospital. He was pleased with her progress, and amazed how much her eye had opened! Still has a way to go though, her brain is not signaling her eye to work properly still-so we are now patching her eye 1-2 hours a day. She is not a fan...but hopefully it will help!
Over the last four days I've spent about 30 hours cleaning our house. We also had the help of some really great people! Thank you! You can see below the need for clean. See the dust on the coffee table, toy box, etc??!! Gross! Thankful to be done with the mess and able to settle back in.

so glad your back home sweet home. Can't wait to see pictures of the progress! I was thinking about you guys today that it was about this time last year that we were losing you to MIchigan. Andy and I were talking the other day about how we need to come see you guys sometime this summer. Might make for a crowded house, but we'd love to come if you're up for it!

The Moser Fam...

You have the best family. I'm sure Melinda will miss having you stay at her house. Glad you are back home...can't wait to see all the rennovations!! Glad A is better and Kaiya is still beautiful even with a patch. I am praying for her..haven't stopped. Love you much!

At least Kaiya is sporting a fashionable eye patch! Glad you're inching closer to some normalcy. Poor baby Ava in that picture, she looks so pitiful. Glad she's feeling better! Love you.
