Sick Weekend...


Checking out the fireplace with Daddy...and amused, even though she had a 102 degree temperature!! (Yeah, it's 80 out-we're pretending, ok?!)

Many of you don't know her, but she really hasn't laid her head on our shoulders since she was probably 3 or 4 months old! She is not a cuddler-she's a mover (energy courtesy of mark and wilma dekorne, not me!!)! So-we could tell how sick she was. Mark wouldn't let me use the flash in the last one. They were dancing together and it put her right to sleep.

Poor thing! It's a catch-22 when your kids are sick. You hate that they're sick, but with some it's the only time they'll cuddle with you! Ashlyn is the same way--a mover, not a cuddler. Maguire is a mover, but also a sweet little cuddle bug :) YAY!!! I hope Ava gets better soon!

What a cutie! I hope she's feeling better. Quinn wasn't a cuddler either until about 10 months. Then all of a sudden, he turned into a wonderful cuddler when he's tired. (It was so out-of-the-blue, I thought he was sick at first!) Since he is STILL a mover, I love those cuddle times. I can't wait to see our two little ones explore together someday!

Sweet girl! OG was the same way - she never sat still and cuddled - until she was sick! Hope she is feeling better. We just got over the 'sickies' at our house. How's the house selling going? Love you guys!
