I have gray hair and age spots.

Which has nothing to do with this post. But I'm definitely annoyed that I'm getting old. I've been young for so long. (I know, I know. I'm still young. But I didn't use to have gray hair and age spots. Only my sisters did. :))

There is really not any cohesiveness to this post. Hide that in your heart.

I LOVE how you can tell both my Dad and Ava are laughing so hard in this picture.
Isn't there a song about a girl with a curl in the middle of her forehead?
She preferred the carefree look to well groomed.
WE LOVE SKYPE!
Do anyone else's children eat sour citrus like it's no big thing? If so I bet it's not while wearing maternity sweatshirts.
Like .2 seconds before they were all standing and smiling. But-I thought Ava and Reese looked a lot alike in this pic. Not that I hadn't realized that before-but it's always fun to compare.
We went to a restaurant called Shakers. I took this picture. ONE WHOLE DAY LATER I texted Jill and was like-I just got it. They have salt and pepper shakers all over the walls. I am still blonde sometimes. Even though I'm not.
We love Aunt Jill!

The sun was soo pretty coming onto our porch the other night. The girls were not overly cooperative with the photo shoot. These were the only two that weren't blurred or someone scowling at me.

Goodnight Angels! These cuties are loving sharing a room. And thankfully not committing any of their previous errors. :)
Oh Ava. Such a classic face of hers. Especially when bargaining.

Oh I love seeing your posts more than ever now. It's so great to see all the smiling faces and get a glimpse into your days. They are growing so fast now...it seems. Ava seriously looks old and Kaiya's hair is more gorgeous than ever...and of course Reese is such a doll. Love you.

Your "young" aunts also have gray hairs and age spots. We don't like them, either! At least we can cover up the gray and I suppose we could cover the age spots, but I think a very thick layer of something would look worse than the spots. As my "little" brother says...the alternative is 6 feet under...I'll take the grays AND the spots! Hugs, sweet, young Heidi~

Love everything about this non-cohesive post. Miss you! Love you!

Girl, I have gray hair too, and let me tell you, it's much more noticeable as the dark brunette that I am. Another reason I wish I had blonde hair. Do you remember my other reason? We talked about it once long ago. :)

Love that your girls love sharing... we should compare notes about that sometime. For my girls, I feel like every day its a toss up whether or not they will feel like loving each other or loving to pick on each other. And mornings like today started with a shouting match. I'll give you one guess how the rest of the day panned out! ;)

I love this post...I love seeing all the pictures of your sweetie pies! K's hair is so beautiful. I have been feeling super old lately too...the gray hair is seriously taking over my head...at least your blonde can hide yours! Love you and so glad you get to enjoy sunshine and family.

Was just catching up on the DeKorne family. Heidi- I just LOVE you! And for the record, I have been coloring my hair for longer than I care to admit (because I have to, not because I want to). And with each child I developed a new age spot...wondering right now if twins mean I will get two new age spots???
Your girls make me smile...they must have lots of their Momma in them.

LOVE the picture of ava and your dad - such pure, unadulterated joy :) and i would seriously pay BIG bucks to have kaiya's hair!! you got a couple great sun/porch shots! and so fun to see those little cuties all tucked in and happy as can be :) so happy to see that you guys are enjoying yourselves and i'm sure your florida family couldn't be happier to have you there!

Keri

Kaiya's hair is just darling!! And PS- I just found a gray hair yesterday. Booo.

Oh so cute! I love all the pics - so great. Are you having a better week? I feel like I am finally acknowledging the fact that I'm getting older now, too. Not a fun realization. I feel like my makeup is starting to crease in little folds I never noticed until recently :/ I also said to Dave this morning, "Does it ever just hit you, like, wow - we have been married for 8 1/2 years, we have 2 kids (+1), and a house. how did that happen?!" good grief.

Anyway, you're beautiful, your heart is beautiful, and so is your family!

The Inspired Nester

1. the pic of reese with the sun on her face is gorgeous.
2. kaiya's hair is really pretty.
3. ava looks just like mark in the last pic!
4. the "no coat" and out and aboutness of these pics looks so nice!

Abby

Love those last three, especially. And the one of your cute mom and Kaiya looking all sassy in the pink/zebra. Also, I am old, too. The under eye and eyelid wrinkles are beginning to give me away...

Ingrid Reineking

it's so great to see your beautiful girls. The sunshine looks so great! It makes me miss you all even more.

Lindsey

You are not old!!! Love looking at the pictures of your cuties; I agree that Ava and Reese definitely favor each other. I love Kaiya's curls....
