Since we moved to Michigan, Memorial Day weekend is the beginning of our trips to the lake. Most years it's still been chilly at the end of May-but this year was SO warm and beautiful. We had a fabulous time on our first trip of the summer!
Girls got to go swimming. I usually don't get in the water until the end of July-last year, not at all. Thank goodness for Daddy and Aunt Barb who take over as water parents.

Ava was SO excited when we got there! You would have thought the sand was 20 dollar bills. :)
I also enjoyed just looking at my baby who can't wear sunscreen. :) We had some fun chats inside. She is such a delight.
My little beverage buddy. ALWAYS wants a drink, and usually finishes her 9 oz. sippy cup in under 2 minutes.

Mark was able to release a little stress through flipping and jumping. That boy is still a boy. :) I love that about him!

Looks like a great weekend and fun on the lake too. I'm jealous you all are so close to water and sand and have a boat to enjoy it in too! We leave for vacation/beach next week and I can hardly wait. The pictures of the girls are just adorable. I love Ava's excited face when she sees the sand. :) Also, I'm commenting on your comment on my blog...I love the old fashion traditional clothes. That sailor outfit on Landon was my brother's as a baby and I found that little sailor dress at a garage sale a summer or two ago. So it's fun. A lot of their other clothes are not, but when I can, I love to dress them up. :) Your girls always look cute!

LOVE the diet coke on the breakfast table. One day I drank 4 cups of coffee. Then a 32oz fountain diet coke, then 4 more cups of coffee, then a bottle of diet coke.
Also, you have precious children:)

Awesome weekend documentation- captured the fun beautifully! Heidi-your hair looks so cute in the pics of you in the pink dress- summery and crimpy! Also, I have to comment on my observation of the DC on the breakfast table- Classic! Love it :)
