Last weekend was our third annual Christmas get together with our buddies from the East. And West. It's been so much fun to spend time with our friends who really have turned into family. In fact, we had to designate a "cry room" for the weekend in anticipation of our departure.
The weekend started out with Ava whipping us up some sugar cookie dough. A vast improvement over her techniques from a few years ago!
The Borowicz's have a tradition of hiding a pickle on the Christmas tree. A dollar goes to any person who finds it...but pride AND a dollar go to the person who finds it first. Way to go Mark.
Out to dinner minus the cherubs.
It's hard NOT to sing along to Brian Adams.
But the real action came a few songs later. That's my man. Sweet Home Alabama had the crowd going wild.
Sisters. Better than any Christmas gift.
But there WERE Christmas gifts. Including: a candy necklace. Remember those things? Gross.

New outfits from Aunt Megan and candy you can wear. Pretty much all you need to be happy.
A birthday party swimming excursion was part of this year's Christmas celebration.

Then our dinner. Indescribably yummy.
And the gift exchange. Mark painted his second piece of art. This was Dave's favorite stop on our Florida trip last month. Mark is definitely a man of many talents!
Mark's riding buddy, Greg, got them twin bike jerseys. (You can't tell that's a bike jersey?!)
Christina got the girls all matching pajamas. We got some GREAT shots of them all together. This was the best one.
This was how we felt all weekend. Stuffed. (yeah, it's a theme.)

ok, first of all, one of the things I missed most while i've been busy with the whole newborn thing is checking Blogs... like YOURS! I love that you post hilarious pictures of your kids, like the one of kaiya stuffing her cute little cheeks with cake. you make me smile. :)

What an incredibly fun weekend! You guys have so much fun together. I'm sure you will all miss each other so much. Your girls are just adorable, and I do love that cake picture too. So funny! What a great group shot of all of you too. :)

i can't believe yall are moving! wow. that is so great you get to move near family and a place with nice weather! yall timed that well with winter.
