I threw one of these on the monthly collage below, but just had to make one more post for my scrapbooking purposes. Ava had big fun with these markers while I loaded the dishwasher, and being non toxic and all, I figured I'd let the fun continue while I documented it. Though a bit messy, these did come off as soon as she touched the bath water. Life is too short to make your kids color on just plain old paper.
My favorite line: "Mama, I look pretty with lipstick?"
Um, sure Ava. You look pretty no matter what.

that is really funny!! She has such a cute personality. I do agree with you about expanding their coloring surfaces..except when it involves my white couches (which happened to us yesterday!!) :)
That is awesome! Just be glad she doesn't have a buzz cut like Caleb. Buzz cuts and markers mean scalps that are impossible to get rid of markings!!! But they had fun what can I say. I too, had to document this momentous occasion and blog about it. Thank goodness for Crayola washables!!! Keep your Sharpies far, far away from the little people. Thankfully, Mr Clean magic erasers and paint fixed that one. :-)
love it! You're right, life is too short to color on plain paper.....although I feel the lipstick might be a tinge brown....but maybe she was going for the earthy look.
Did she eat the marker too? :) She is so hilarious and cute! Love it!
Too funny! Love the new pics! Happy birthday!
awesome.
So funny! Her face is hilarious. I love that she went right for her lips with the marker! :)
