All the women, independent, throw your hands up at me. And that's what she does. Usually accompanied by-"no". So, lately-Ava wants a fork. Not a spoon, a fork. To stab her prey. This is annoying at home, but quite embarassing when you are at other people's house. (sorry, Lesley) She is learning some lessons-like you can't pick up a Ritz cracker with a fork. Although she did a nice job on the goldfish below.

Some pictures Mark took outside today after he was gone ALL WEEK. Really nice to have another set of hands around tonight! I went crazy and took a shower AND checked my email. Sad what becomes luxury.
The coat she was wearing was mine when I was little. It's all that's really still around from my childhood! Fourth child..few memories. :)

i wanna meet ava
cute pics...she's getting so big.
Awesome. Jack wants to use utensils, but just grabs the food and shoves it in his mouth. . . likes to hold the fork, but just holds it. Tries to get food but it's so much clean-up at this point, I don't even bother! How is the world of 2?
ha..cade uses the same size fork. It is probably the fact they see us using the big utensils. However, half the time I am scared he is going to poke his eye out!
I love her jacket. Classic. At least you have something saved from childhood. I have nothing, and I was first born!
i seriously laughed out loud at the thought of trying to pick up a ritz cracker, or goldfish for that matter, with a fork. I love it! And i agree with Ali: i want to meet Ava. :)
She is so funny! I would just be glad that she wants to use a utensil at all. You are blessed with a fabulous eater and a baby who likes to feed herself....trust me..that is a good thing! :) Oh..and that coat is adorable...she looks so cute in it! :) Love you!
Oh, isn't it wonderful when they assert their independence? Love the coat.
I love her big fork! Cracks me up! She's good at it, too! :)
Those "fork as a weapon" pictures are cracking me up! I am so excited that her fine motor skills are developing so nicely...she is certainly GT. :0) Give her a big kiss for me...Miss you!
Fabulous coat by the way- you were fashionable even at a young age!
