I have had my first pangs this week of losing my first baby. I know I won't ever lose her-but just sad that she is going to no longer be THE baby...something she was only called for a short time!
True white trash fashion stripping her down one piece of clothing at a time to play in the water. Of course I'm not willing to get in the water-so there's no bathing suit on either of us. (i am SUCH a grandma sometimes) (no offense, grandma :))

Delighted at the birds....oh to be 1 and not know that they poop on the dock. :)
SIDENOTE (Do not read if you don't have kids/kristy, ryan, etc.) : I am a self confessed diaper snob. I would allow my child to wear nothing but Pampers having tried a few other varieties that came off of diaper cakes and other gift packages. However, during our bout with rotovirus--when I was changing like 15 diapers a day-I bought some at Costco-the Kirkland brand. COULD NOT BE HAPPIER! In fact, when we were at the lake a few weeks ago, I had to buy some cruisers because I had run out of the Kirklands-and she leaked thru probably 4 diapers overnight. Has never happened with the Costco-they are 20 cents a piece, and survived the complete immersion in water above beautifully. I'm just saying.

I'm a diaper snob too....only Pampers for us...but I'd be willing to give Costco a try if we had one close by. :) Actually, scratch that...I'd like to give UNDERWEAR a try...there's an idea?! :) Cute pictures...where are you at? Why do you always look so cute? :) LOVE!
I must say I have never been disappointed with Costco diapers and would still be using them if we didn't live here!!! I will say that I DO NOT like Huggies regular, but Huggies supreme are just like Costco diapers :-) I AM a Huggies wipe snob and will not use anything else. I did discover that Pampers and Luvs are made by the same company so we use loves because they are cheaper and I have never had leaks...ever!
Looks like A has so much fun swimming off the dock :-) You will be surprised how much she "grows up" once #2 comes home. Especially after holding a newborn for 2 days at the hospital, then holding her...they grow overnight!

Yes. I was a Pampers snob for 6 1/2 years until about a month ago. I decided to "live and learn, and then get luvs." Rose is wearing those, and Lucy has started wearing the kind that are "green." Well, not really green, but good for the environment. And, I'm saving boatloads. Plus, Anna is night-trained finally, so--2 down, 2 to go.

i wanted to be a diaper snob.. and i still am in the "infant" stage. only swaddlers. however. when makenna outgrew swaddlers, we tried cruisers (seemed obvious) but she was allergic to them. peed out of the target brand in record time, and only seemed to jive with huggies supreme.
we'll see what happens with mattie. wish we had a Costco. can we buy them online??
