little bit of this and that

My fabulous brother and sister in law swung through town for a quick lunch...so fun to be all together for a couple minutes!!! I totally lucked out in the sibling department. Although we missed the biggest sister terribly!
I was happy to chaperone the field trip where we got donuts.

These two little bundles of happy make me just that.
One of the many reasons I love my friend Abby with my whole heart.
Had a Wednesday night tradition of eating dinner with Grandma.
And this buddy-fully welcomed him to the world of people that eat normal food.

Happy Birthday, Kaiya!

I don't know what's wrong with me! I'm so embarrassed these are the only pictures I have of Kaiya's birthday party. But-at least there are these!!!

This cake was maybe the best cake I've ever tasted. Also maybe the most expensive. I realized why we usually get Costco cakes. Lesson learned. :)

Happy Birthday to our sweet girl. Truly the most mild mannered delightful child. We love you Kaiya!!!

"I am so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers."

I love fall with my whole heart. I feel so sad for people who live in the South and don't get to experience it like we do. I've been one of those people.

Kaiya and her buddy Will have a special friendship-and since the beginning of school walk in together holding hands. It's pretty cute.
Oh the leaves. (the playset detracts a bit but I still like looking :))

 Pumpkin patches!!!

This is our little buddy on the day he turned 7 months. He didn't really want to stop moving long enough for me to take his picture.
And this is the birthday girl! More on her birthday celebration to come. Cute little pig tailed 4 year old.
 Birthday lunch...

 Birthday checkup
with Dad along for moral support...

She was in a hello kitty phase for a bit...
This buddy is a climber, too.

I just don't sit at my computer anymore. I look at most internetish things on the phone, take pictures with the phone, talk on the phone, etc. Unfortunately for Hutch, I acuired said phone 4 days before he was born so his life documentation is pretty sub par.

As the fourth undocumented child myself I really thought I would do better. And I'm going to now. Because yesterday I saw a fire truck. And I thought-I wonder if that truck is going to my house. (Don't laugh, it's happened before.) And then I thought-well if it does it's ok because we're all in the car together, except for my pictures. Which if I were caught up on the blog-at least would be somewhat of a history. But I'm not. So here I go.

Look how old this is! Ava played soccer in the fall. Isn't it nice I could document that? :) Look how tan my  babies were! I forgot!

 Cute bystander
Ava and her old friend, Molly
 Just because they look cute.
THEN: We went to ANOTHER wonderful wedding. My nephew Sam and his beautiful wife, Rumana got married in Lexington and we loved getting to go celebrate.

Our first stop, of course, was Chuys...best thing ever to happen to Lexington, KY. :)
 Love this pretty lady!

Family together makes me sooooooooo happy!
 Sam's beautiful wife, Rumana
The girls sleep in a giant closet at Laurel's house, and though it's hard to see-this picture cracked me up. I'm not even sure who is who in that heap!

They asked Reese to be a flower girl and this was about 30 seconds before she was supposed to walk down the aisle. I figured she was a no go.
Rumana wearing my mom's wedding dress.
But by George she did it. Barefoot, but she did it.
She even led the pack! (note handsome nephews behind)

Then she came back and sat with us. My favorite part of the whole ceremony was went music started to dance and she looked at me and said: "I'll be right back. I gotta go dance." And charged on up to the front. I love that crazy girl.

Happy Couple! We love you guys!!!!
